At Shear Magique, education is more than a box we check, it’s how we continue to grow, evolve, and deliver the best experience for our guests. Yamaris, Yazmin, Jess and Bella (B2) spent four full days at the Redken Exchange attending the Cut & Know Why haircutting class, an intensive, hands-on haircutting experience focused on building real confidence behind the chair.
Redken Cut & Know Why is designed for stylists who are ready to move past inspiration alone and truly understand the “why” behind every haircut. This four-day hands-on design class breaks down the fundamentals of face shape, head shape, perimeter silhouette, and texture through engaging workshops and real-time practice. Instead of guessing, stylists learn how to confidently create, recreate, and communicate any haircut, deconstruct styles, and apply core cutting principles to every guest in the chair. The result is stronger technical skills, clearer communication, and the ability to approach any haircut with confidence and intention.
For our team, this experience wasn’t just about learning new techniques, it was about sharpening their foundation, elevating their craft and bringing that knowledge back to our guests at Shear Magique.
